Auri Muir is a queer woman & midwestern writer with degrees in interpersonal communications, English education, and mental health counseling. She is currently editing her debut literary fiction novel Informed Consent for submission.

Her work thematically focuses on womanhood, the loneliness of being human, and barriers to vulnerability. She blends elements from existentialism, surrealism, and transgressive fiction to depict being human in a world that seems intent on isolation.
